Dr. Alyssa M. Degnan is a dedicated and accomplished physician with over 23 years of experience in internal medicine. Originally from New Jersey, she has made significant strides in her career, recently acquiring Evello in April 2024. Dr. Degnan embraces the exciting challenges and satisfaction of integrating aesthetics into her medical practice, creating a unique and rewarding experience for both herself and her clients.

Dr. Degnan’s educational journey began at Manhattan College in New York City, followed by her graduation from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She completed her internship in Philadelphia before continuing her training at Pennsylvania Hospital within the University of Pennsylvania healthcare system, where she spent four years honing her skills. 

After relocating to Aiken, South Carolina, Dr. Degnan spent 16 years practicing traditional internal medicine before pioneering the concept of concierge medicine in  Aiken SC Today, she is the owner and operator of one of the busiest and most successful MDVIP practices in the country, where she focuses on personalized healthcare and wellness. Dr. Degnan’s commitment to individualized care and attention extends not only to her private medical patients but also to those she serves through Evello.

A former Division I college basketball player, Dr. Degnan is a passionate advocate for fitness and wellness, which she practices daily. When she’s not caring for her patients or working in the aesthetics clinic, Dr. Degnan enjoys spending time with her husband, six children, and two golden retriever puppies. She can often be found fishing near Fripp Island, lifting weights at the gym, or perfecting her tennis skills on the courts. Dr. Degnan’s enthusiasm for life and wellness is truly contagious, and she continues to inspire those around her both professionally and personally.
